Cover thickness

Cover thickness:

The thickness of the top (carrier side) and bottom (running side) covers is given in millimeters (mm). The thickness of the top cover depends mainly on the type of transported material and the conveyor parameters, such as the load method, the height from which the material falls on the belt, the angle of inclination, etc. The rubber bottom cover protects the fabric dividers from the action of the conveyor rollers. The minimum tolerance of the cover thickness cannot be more than 0.2 mm for a thickness of 4 mm and not more than 5% for a thickness of more than 4 mm. There are no standards for maximum cover thickness tolerance.

Cover quality:

The quality and structure of the surface (smooth or profiled) should be selected according to the type of transported material and working conditions. Rubber quality and parameters related to wear resistance, etc. must comply with  DIN  or  ISO standards .
