The Belle Banne P-type scraper is a precision scraper that is mounted under the conveyor belt. Its special feature is the mounting of the blade supports on cushions made of highly elastic rubber instead of a spring suspension. It is designed to work with a belt speed of up to 4 m/s. A number of tests were carried out by steelmakers before being launched on the market and the comments received were followed up. As of today, this product is used in many industries where high efficiency belt cleaning is required (e.g. cement plants) and their users rate the Belle Banne P-TYPE as “much better than previously used scrapers”.

Cleaning efficiency

The combination of a very hard blade alloy and flexible rubber to which the blade supports are attached gives excellent results. Thanks to this, not only high cleaning efficiency is achieved, but it also affects work safety, because in the event of strong resistance, the blade can deviate from the surface being cleaned.

Installation
Due to its dimensions, the Belle Banne P-TYPE scraper can be easily mounted in a convenient place. Even on damaged belts, this scraper performs quite well, as the rubber cushion absorbs vibrations and the blades individually adapt to the surface being cleaned.

Because the Belle Banne P-TYPE is installed at an angle of approximately 60º, it cannot be used on reversing conveyors. During installation, set the scraper at an angle of approx. 70º, and after starting the conveyor, the friction force will lead to optimal positioning in relation to the surface to be cleaned.
